What are signs my septic tank needs pumping?
Slow drains, gurgling, odors, wet spots over the drain field, or more than 3 to 5 years since the last pump-out are common signs.
Why does my well pump keep turning on and off?
Rapid on-off cycling is often caused by a waterlogged pressure tank or a pressure switch problem. Have it checked, since cycling wears out the pump.
Should I use septic additives?
The EPA does not recommend relying on additives. Regular inspection and pumping are what keep a system working.
